Index Provider

We build the stock market indices for tokenised shares.

What S&P and MSCI do for traditional markets, we do for the new onchain markets: we create transparent, rules-based thematic indices — and regulated institutions license them.

1

We design the rules

We write and publish simple, transparent rules that decide which companies enter each index and in what proportion.

2

Institutions license them

Regulated asset managers and institutions license our indices to build investment products on top of them.

3

Investors get access

You invest through your usual advisor, wealth manager or family office — tokenisation simply makes access faster and fully traceable.

Each index follows the same rules: 5 core holdings, 10 satellites, quarterly rebalancing. You always know what you own and why.

We are a data and technology company — not a bank, not a broker.

Iceberg Finance designs and sponsors the indices and the tokenised thematic funds built on them. The funds themselves are issued and administered with regulated partners, and financed through regulated channels. We never manage client accounts directly — your advisor, wealth manager or family office remains your point of contact.

Iceberg Finance does not act as investment adviser, broker-dealer or asset manager for any underlying client account.

What is an xETF?

“xETF” is the market's name for an exchange-traded index product whose units — and the shares inside it — exist as tokens onchain. Iceberg Finance works one step earlier in the chain.

What it is

A fund-like product, built onchain, that tracks a published index. An xETF is issued and operated by a regulated issuer or asset manager — not by Iceberg Finance.

Where we sit

We design the index rules an xETF can track, and the data and technology behind them. We do not create, run or sell xETFs.

Why the format matters

Because it lives onchain, an xETF's holdings and index data can be verified continuously — not on a daily or monthly delay.

What it is not

An xETF is a product built by someone else; an index is a set of rules for measuring performance. Nothing on this page is an offer to buy or sell anything.

xETFs vs traditional ETFs

Neither format wins in every case. The table sets out the structural differences — nothing more.

DimensionTraditional ETFxETF
SettlementTypically T+2, through banks and clearing houses.Onchain, final within minutes of confirmation.
TransparencyHoldings disclosed daily or monthly, depending on the fund.Holdings and index composition visible onchain, near real time.
AccessThrough brokers and bank accounts, during exchange hours.Units move onchain: eligible participants onboard and settle at any hour, through regulated fund channels.
ProgrammabilityFund administration and corporate actions handled by back-office teams.Rebalance notices, data and administration can be published automatically by software, within the applicable rules.
Market maturityDeep liquidity, decades of regulation, established clearing.A newer format: liquidity, rules and verification standards are still developing.
